Term Life/Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance
After a six (6) month waiting period trooper members receive $7,500 of term life coverage and an accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) plan that doubles the term life coverage to $15,000 in the event of an accidental death.
Retired trooper members have the option of replacing the term life insurance/accidental death & dismemberment policy with a vision plan.
Brotherhood Assistance
Awarded on an as-needed basis and as resources permit, to assist trooper members with catastrophic events such as death, severe injury, illness, natural disasters and financial stress caused to the family of troopers by any of these events. (Our members’ needs come first but AAST frequently assists worthy non-member troopers as funds permit.)
