In Memory of Trooper Patrick Ambroise
1975-2010

Trooper Ambroise

Florida Highway Patrol Trooper Patrick Ambroise died in the line of duty on Saturday, May 15, 2010. Trooper Ambroise was killed when another vehicle slammed into the back of his patrol car that was parked on the shoulder of the Turnpike facing northbound in the area just north of the Okeechobee interchange in Miami-Dade County. The impact from the accident sparked a fire in the gas tank which engulfed Ambroise's car, trapping him inside.

Trooper Ambroise, 35, had served with the Florida Highway Patrol for 4 years and was assigned to Troop K (Turnpike) Miami. He is survived by his wife and two daughters.

Please join the men and women of the American Association of State Troopers in keeping the family of Trooper Ambroise and the men and women of the Florida Highway Patrol in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
