New York State Police Trooper Kevin Dobson died in the line of duty on Saturday, March 26, 2011. Trooper Dobson was struck and killed by a vehicle while making a traffic stop on I-290 in Erie County.
Trooper Dobson, 43, had served with the New York State Police for 14 years. He is survived by a 16-year-old son, two daughters ages 15 and 4, his partner, Bridget Hastings, and her son.
