In Memory of Sergeant Doug Weddleton

Sergeant Weddleton



Massachusetts State Police Sergeant Doug Weddleton died in the line of duty on Friday, June 18, 2010. Sergeant Weddleton was fatally struck by a drunk driver after he had pulled over another suspected DUI motorist. Both drunk drivers were arrested and charged with numerous charges.

Sergeant Weddleton, 52, had served with the Massachusetts State Police for 28 years. He is survived by his wife, Judith, and four sons, ages 14 to 26.
