MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT: PROTECT – PROVIDE – CONNECT​

As we begin the new year, my hope is that 2025 will provide vast opportunities for the expansion of AAST. Sharing the story of this organization with everyone will be a priority for me. Our mission is to Protect – Provide – Connect with every state police and highway patrol agency in the country while serving both active and retired members. AAST has been active for 36 years and is wholly devoted to serving Troopers throughout the country.

We focus on providing assistance to our members with an excellent benefit package at a very minimal cost. A vital goal to achieve will be sharing the story of AAST in order to connect with every eligible Trooper. This can be challenging, but our message can be seen and heard in multiple ways. Our website www.statetroopers.org provides every aspect of who we are and what we hope to achieve. Our Facebook page also shares information and photos related to all agencies along with a YouTube video that summarizes exactly who AAST serves and how the mission is accomplished.

Some of our major contributors are the state directors who serve as volunteers to share the story and recruit new members while also ensuring that brotherhood assistance is available as needed. The directors are a combination of both active and retired members who fully understand the benefits derived from membership and are willing to share the AAST program with the Troopers of their respective agencies. I strongly encourage all current members to also share the importance of membership in AAST with your fellow Troopers to ensure all are aware of the organization and the mission to Protect – Provide – Connect. Hearing about AAST directly from you will have a significant impact on expanding our reach to all eligible members. The Executive Staff of AAST performs outstanding services in support of all members and are always available to assist with recruitment, brotherhood assistance and guidance to receive the benefits available with membership. Expanding AAST’s reach is also their highest priority.

One extremely important area to also recognize is our Corporate Partners. These corporations and private individuals provide generous year-round support to the Association. They are valuable assets who work collaboratively with state police and highway patrol agencies across the United States and willingly support the members of AAST. We encourage and welcome new partnerships who wish to join us in providing services to Troopers across the nation. The AAST Foundation is funded by our partners and provides scholarship opportunities for both Troopers and their dependents.

The AAST is a strong benevolent organization focused on serving and assisting Troopers whose duty it is to protect and serve America!
